Wonderful cafe we discovered when looking on google maps for an alternative to usual service station type food en route to Anglesey. It is literally just off J32 A55 near Flint/Holywell. Setting is lovely, food and staff both really good and our group of 7 - grandparents, parents and young children - plus dog were all made very welcome and all food was freshly made and very good. We enjoyed it so much we planned our return journey to include lunch here again.

Fabulous place to eat gluten free and vegan on the menu staff are lovely polite . The views outside are stunning will be there again very soon .

Well the 5 star card had to come out for this place (don't happen very often). Just 3 minutes off the A55, easy parking, great location and dog friendly. Food beautiful, Veggie and Vegan options, staff great, hygiene very good. Shop next door has a great selection of locally made gifts. I ended up spending more than expected, its great to see such skill and dedication in one place. Cakes made locally on-site, recently the cafe has won an award for the trifle for the Queens Jubilee this year. Nice local 30 minute walk down to a couple of lakes and yes you can go fishing. Also hairdressers now on-site make a day of it.

Oh my goodness! Betty Berkins coffee shop, near Flint, North Wales, is a fabulous little find! We were travelling through Wales, having left our home in London far behind. We arrived with our little puppy into a very welcoming atmosphere, and in a beautiful setting. Our breakfast and coffee was delicious, and we took out some Rocky Road to enjoy later in the day. It was gorgeous - thick and chocolatey! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We tried to visit for a repeat breakfast the next day (Monday) but found the expansive car park empty...and Betty’s was closed. We were moving on that day to our next destination, so we never had the opportunity again. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Betty and all the staffi

Always helpful, friendly staff and a wide range of beautiful cakes for customers to choose from. Interior is nicely decorated and outdoor seating is available, which is my preference, due to the pleasant countryside location. If you do not fancy cake, then they also serve a selection of nice breakfast and lunch meals. Would recommend. Since writing this review, I have returned many times and I have never been disappointed. The breakfasts and lunches here are amazing and their cakes are the best around.

Just a couple of minutes from junction 32 A55 travelling towards Chester this cafe is a great place to stop. As mentioned in other reviews its dog friendly with doggy ice cream, great food and coffee

Food and service was fantastic. The wife and I sat outside as had our dog and it was a very warm day. The only thing that let it down was the outside seating was a little on the shabby side. Could do with a little TLC. Other than that a great little visit.

Lovely coffee shop, just off the A55 and between Holywell and Flint. The food and coffee is excellent and the place is very popular at peak times. If you are going with a group of friends, it would be best to book a table. The coffee shop is down a lane and they also have a shop beside it.
